The Spark DJ Car, created to promote the market launch of the car, will not limit itself at being a promotional gizmo. It will take a more active role, as it will be featured at a number of gigs by indie-band The Mystery Jets starting from Thursday, April 8.
Chevrolet and The Mystery Jets will be holding a public vote to determine where the locations of the gigs will be. The public will be asked to choose between an old mustard factory in Birmingham, a car park in Manchester and a ferry in Liverpool.
The Spark is offered with a choice of two engines, a 1.0-liter configuration that develops 67 horsepower plus a 1.2-liter unit that releases 80 hp. A five-speed manual transmission is offered as standard, contributing to an average fuel consumption rating of 46 mpg (5.1 l/100km).
