Not a month passed and DJ Khaled brags about a new project, whether it’s a video or a new deal with a headset producer. In his latest post on Instagram, the rapper shows his black luxury sedans under a sky of umbrellas, while wearing headphones.
Since his debut album, Listennnn...the Album, he released in 2006, he went a long way. Six others followed and three years later he became the president of record label Def Jam South, also being the CEO and founder of We the Best Music Group. Most recently, Khaled announced that he has partnered with Danish audio company Bang & Olufsen to launch his own brand of headphones, title “We the Best Sound.”
And now that you know all that, maybe you get this picture better. Let us look closer. The Maybach is a great luxury car, one of the favorites among rappers, and definitely the first choice of this guy. Only little problem is the German-based ultra-luxury car brand owned by Daimler AG announced in November 2011 that Maybach will cease to be a brand by 2013.
This takes us to the other murdered-out sedan the producer took on set, the Rolls-Royce Wraith. Is it a replacement of the Maybach? Well, it might as well be one considering deliveries on the most potent and technologically advanced Rolls-Royce in history started in the fourth quarter of 2013. We’re not saying the Wraith is replacing the Maybach, we’re just stating Khaled seems to have done that.
