Diwheel: a Student Runabout Inspired by Star Wars

This week Dan and Leon, the two guys behind one of our favorite internet shows called “Add a Motor To It”, were in a much calmer and more civilized place than the bars and dirt alleys we’ve grown accustomed to.
That’s because they wanted to have a talk to Sam, a young man who made something interesting with his spare time - a big motorized wheel that you can ride around in. And guess what, Sam says it was inspired by Star Wars. We’ve got bits of geek blood in us, so we have to mention that he’s referring to General Grievous’ Tsmeu Wheel Bike.

Dan and Leon didn’t get the technical stuff either,so we’re not going to bother. What we are going to tell you is that Sam was able to pilot it upside down, but he couldn’t pick up girls. Surely, this due to the lack of chrome and a fuzz dice, which can be fixed.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
