In the midst of television storm regarding the post-Clarkson era in the high-octane media, Discovery Channel UK is taking one small step for entertainment, but one that could make a giant leap for petrolheads. OK, maybe we’re a little bit too dramatic, but British actor Idris Elba sure had our attention with this teaser.
Since some of you nice burnt rubber-loving people out there are rather bored with all the will he-should he Clarkson talks, I figured we may hit the brake for a change and look somewhere else. First of all, I looked at the sky, enjoyed the morning breeze and just appreciated summer for it’s the best season, let’s face it.

About four minutes later, I clearly needed something car-related. Those algorithms and cookies the social networks keep improving definitely did their job with this petrolhead since I found myself watching an auto video almost the next moment. We’re not here to waste your time, nor ruin your delight watching it yourself. We need to underline a couple of details first, though.

OK, so Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actor and producer Idris Elba is not busy entertaining others, but enjoys treating himself with proper racing and sportscar action as well. We knew that for a while now and if you want to find out more about it check out the related posts below.

We also know that this teaser is here to present to us a soon-to-broadcast new exclusive four-part series. The show will see Idris “immersing himself in aerobatics, rally driving, drag racing, and an attempt to break the ‘Flying Mile’ record set by Malcolm Campbell in 1927.” He did break the record, we know that too, but it doesn’t mean the show is not worth watching.
