Some of you might be already familiar with Stanislav Cociorva and Ecaterina Cernei, if not with their names then at least with the breathtaking videos they shoot in various parts of the world with the help of a random BMW model and a drone.
While in 2017 they discovered the beauty of frozen Romania with a drone and a BMW X6, Stanly and Katya traveled through two more countries with picturesque sceneries this year.
First, they took part in a sometimes treacherous escapade through the Scottish Highlands with a rear-wheel-Drive BMW 440i Coupe, returning with footage worthy of a sequel to Braveheart.
Their latest travel adventure took them to the Iberian Peninsula, in the South of Portugal, where they drove a BMW X3 xDrive 20d for around 2500 km (about 1550 miles) in search of the most glorious landscapes they could find.
The “Traveller's Tales” project, as it's officially called, aims to show the beauty of less seen places and from a unique point of view, and “Discovering Portugal” makes no exception to this rule.
"Our journey through Portugal made us want more. Without a doubt, our plans to visit every place we wanted to visit didn't make it possible to also check out the northern part of the country in one single journey. This desire to discover made us communicate, invent, learn, meet people and explore further. The feeling you get when driving toward the horizon and then look beyond it with the help of drones is indescribable. This is the experience we wanted to share with our short movie about “Discovering Portugal.” Enjoy it!" Stanly and Katya said about their latest project.
Among the downright arresting landscapes and architecture details, the resulting short film also includes a premiere – the first official drone footage taken over the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, which extends to Cabo da Roca, Europe's westernmost point.
