Akrapovic is showing their range of custom products at the Custombike Show in Bad Salzuflen, northern Germany next week, from 5th to 7th December. If you’re in Germany next week, a trip to Bad Salzuflen might be just the right occasion to review the Xmas presents list, and make some amends where your name is written down.
The custom line addresses mostly Harley-Davidson models, but this is definitely only the beginning. This should not sound surprising at all, because bar and shield fans are anyway among the most hardcore supporters of tuning and aftermarket add-ons in the world, so Akra’s move is only natural.

At the Custombike Show Akrapovic will bring the latest exhaust systems for the Harley-Davidson Sportster, Dyna, Touring, Softail, and V-Rod. Those visiting Akrapovic’s booth will also be able to check out the new optional valve system available for the Sportster models. Other Akrapovic Slip-on exhausts with the valve system will also be present at Custombike Show, such as the FLHRC Roadking Classic and XL1200X Forty-Eight, as well as Slip-On Classic on an FXDB Streetbob and FLTSFB Fatboy Special.

A completely new custom project will be unveiled

Famous Akrapovic-themed motorcycles Morsus and Mashina by Dreamachine, while Germany’s Marcus Walz will bring in his Rush and Varg beasts.

On December 6, the Akrapovic booth will host the unveiling of a very special, all-new and so far, very secret project. This new bike sounds interesting, as Akrapovic stresses out that the unveiling will take place at noon, when the moon will be full, according to the lunar phase. If the poster Akrapovic shows on their webpage has anything to do with the real bike (and we hope it does), then we might be in for a mean, badass bagger with radical looks and  matching evil performance specs, an Akra exhaust system will only make better, on both the figures and aural sides.

This is yet one more proof that Akrapovic is becoming more and more interested in providing top-notch exhaust solution for the cruiser and custom bike niches. With the custom bike market slowly expanding in more countries and an increasing number of builders, modders and their customers opting for premium exhausts, seeing Akrapovic heeding their demands is truly inspiring. If only bike manufacturers themselves would be more careful listening to what their customers want…
