Dirt Track Go Karting - Something You Should Try Before Arthritis Kicks In

Have a couple of go karts sitting around after serving their purpose at a track? Here’s the solution - take them on a dirt track and have fun until they give up and break in to pieces. Like these guys in the video here are doing.

Everyone knows what a kart is - a very low tubular frame with four wheels, a seat, steering wheel, two pedals, a tiny engine and a solid axle at the back. Oh and no suspension at all. The ride is hard as a rock and the only dampening comes from the tires and your bum fat.

On smooth asphalt that’s no problem, but taking this on a dirt track will represent the ride of your life. Vibrations will be felt everywhere; in your legs, in your back, head and especially in your arms as you’ll clench your fingers on that steering wheel and hold for dear life.

It’s hard to concentrate on ideal lines and if you go like this for more than 10 minutes you will throw up, I guarantee it. Oh, and if you didn’t know, most of the kart racing is done on dirt oval courses in the United States, especially in the Southeast and Midwest.

Go watch the video below and try it at first occasion before your joints will go sore.
