Ever since the first BMW 1M Coupe reached the first reviewer the world took a step back and gave the smaller M car ever made the respect it deserved. Being called not once the true heir to the E30 M3, this bad boy was, unfortunately, built in limited numbers.
The guys from Dinan Engineering decided this kind of a car deserved more than it was already receiving and set up a complete Stage 3 kit for the little coupe.
The main components of this kit include a carbon fibre cold air intake, a high-performance intercooler, ECU stage 3 map, high capacity oil cooler, racing coilover suspension (that works with the standard Electronic Damper Control), lightweight tubular adjustable front anti-roll bar and Dinan’s monoball kit that replaces the factory rubber bushings with precision ball joints.
“Our 1M R&D vehicle has been an exciting build and we’re thrilled to have a big lineup of parts for the car. 1M owners are now able to make more horsepower and torque, while still having a reliable vehicle, backed by our factory matching warranty,” said Dinan Engineering President, Steve Dinan.
