Therefore, we though it would be only logical to show you the following video of a BMW E39 M5 on steroids (and by steroids we mean a Dinan tune) going against an equally formidable BMW E63 M6 from G-Power.
The G-Power M6 is no less than a Hurricane CS model, a car that has 750 HP and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque coming out of the V10 engine under the bonnet thanks to supercharging. Should we tell you just how fast it is?
The E39 M5 prepared by Dinan doesn't use supercharging but a myriad of little tweaks and tricks to make the engine output go up for about 80 HP to 476 HP and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque. Absolutely mental numbers for its era.
Sure, in a straight line, the M6 would pull off but it's the maneuverability of the M5 and the way it feels that makes it a better car. Both of them are absolutely mental machines and will give you the ride of your life though, so we're more than happy to watch them play in the desert sun. Enjoy!
