The optional Burmester high-end surround sound system in the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class W222 is in itself a work of art.

No less than 24 high-performance speakers and 24 separate amplifiers channels with a total output of 1540 watts sit in the S-Class, providing an unrivaled 3d-sound experience inside the car.
Apart from the 3d-sound, four other preset sounds modes can be selected:
Pure – which is a sound reproduction with no additional effects;
Live – which brings a sound atmosphere similar to being at a live music concert;
Easy Listening – which offers a sound that's better suited for a relaxed listening experience;
Surround – which obviously is a surround sound;
