As seen in the fourth episode of the fourth season of Diesel Brothers, the Indomitus isn’t your average Super Duty. The six-wheeler started out as an F-550 from the 2017 model year with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbo diesel, now featuring six driven wheels, 12,823 miles on the odometer, and the six-speed TorqShift automatic transmission with SelectShift technology.
Listed on Motorious for the princely price of $145,000, the one-off leviathan’s rear end features four-link suspension with adjustable airbags and shock absorbers from Bilstein. The Giverny Green paintwork by PPG is custom, just like the 10-foot bed with a spare wheel in the center of the cargo area.
Readylift is responsible for the seven-inch lift kit while the 40-inch tires are complemented by DBL wheels. Aftermarket bumpers from Flog, a Headache bed rack, and the fifth-wheel ball hitch, and a pair of bumper-mounted tow hooks up front complete the exterior makeover of the truck.
The biggest disappointment of the Indomitus isn’t the badge on the ViCal visor by Fab Fours, but the design of the dashboard. A heavy-duty pickup truck with six-wheel drive and military appearance shouldn’t feature a basic infotainment system, cloth seats, or gray seat belts. To the point, a work-ready interior isn’t fitting for a $145k custom pickup like this fellow here.
Motorious highlights that Minnesota residents are responsible for tax, license, and title procurement fees while out-of-state buyers only have to pony up $100 for title procurement. Trades are also considered by the dealer and financing is available, but nevertheless, good luck finding a buyer for such an intimidating mammoth without a similarly impressive cabin and dashboard.
On a related note, the F-Series in Super Duty flavor is arguably the best truck in the segment for 2020. The most interesting addition is the Godzilla pushrod V8, a 7.3-liter monster of an engine with 430 horsepower, 475 pound-feet, 21,200 pounds of towing capacity, and a payload of 7,660 pounds.
