Chris Brown just made himself a really cool Lamborghini Gallardo with help from West Coast Customs. And by cool we mean very ugly.
However, another car could take center stage in the young rapper/singer/songwriter's life. According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Rihanna has bought a very rare Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss for Chris' 24th birthday, which is coming up on May 5th.
''Rihanna has spent more than a million dollars on his main gift - a custom-made car. She's had his initials put on the red leather seats," a source familiar with the purchase said.
The SLR Stirling Moss is one ultra-rare machine of which only 75 have been built between June and December of 2009. The limited-edition model comes with a 5.5-liter supercharged v8 engine that produces 650 horsepower, enough to propel it from 0 to 60 mph (98 km/h) in just 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
In an amusing but not surprising twist of events, Chris unflawed Rihanna on Twitter after she probably getting jealous of her kissing a fan, mirror.co.uk writes today. This could mean they aren't back together, as Twitter is where this couple likes to live out its soap opera. Brown's father recently said he hopes they split up soon before they end up dying. Yes, it's that complicated.
If they're not together any more, we'd be more than glad to take the good ol' Stirling off her hands, even if it has "CB" on the headrests.
