Design Your Own Tron Light Cycle

Tron has been, for most of our readers, a movie they have probably never seen. Launched in 1982, the original movie described a world never envisioned before, filled with Users and Programs that interacted by using exciting machines and weapons.

Last year, Disney revived the original characters, giving them a more modern interpretation. With the help of the 3D technology, the vehicles that populate the inner computer world entered a new dimension of light and magic. Especially the Light Cycles.

Firing up the imagination of bike and apparel designers all over the world, the Light Cycles will now form the focus of a new competition launched by SideQuesting. The goal: design you own Light Cycle, in less than 2 hours, using whatever tools you desire (the time limit is, if you like, only a suggestion, as the organizers have no way of checking how long it took you to draw your design).

The prizes that will be given to those that manage to impress are not necessarily extremely valuable, but will surely make the world of a Tron fan spin faster: a copy of the Art of Tron Legacy art book, a White Light Cycle toy figurine, or a Tron Deluxe Light Cycle.

All you have to do is create an original work (as many as you like, actually), submit them here by Sunday, April 10 and wait for your name to come up on the winners' list. The down side is that, despite the fact that the competition is open to participants from all around the world, the prizes won't be delivered outside the US.
