DeLorean Hovercraft Won't Take You Back to the Future

We don't know if the DeLorean made Back to the Future better or the other way around, but one thing is for sure: this car still enjoys its cult status.

In the first movie, a teenager is sent 30 years into the past using a time machine built around a car by Dr. Emmett Brown. The second movie Mary into the future, to the year 2015, which amusingly is just around the corner. Cars don't yet fly like in the movie, and there aren't any hover boards, but somebody has invented a DeLorean that hovers.

Of course, it's not a real car, rather a hovercraft with a fake DMC body on top. There's a fan under the hood that sucks in air and pushes it underneath the craft to create a cushion of air that allow it to glide on any surface.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
