Justin Biever wears his pants around his ankles and drives a Ferrari supercar. But that's just way to mainstream for some people, people who need wear smelly old clothes and black frame eye glasses with duct take in the middle. No, not Peter Parker, we're talking about the hipsters.
The Internet phenomenon that is Maclemore and his hit single "Thrift Shop" can not be ignored any longer. It's got almost 300 million views on Youtube, enough to rival your average Beyonce or Lady Gaga hit.

We would have left Maclemore alone were it not for the liberal use of one particular retro supercar in his video. The DeLorean, widely considered… the car from Back to the Future. It's also one of the most over-hyped cars on the planet.

Even when it was new, it wasn't really that good. Back in 1981, its 2.9-liter V6 engine produced only 150 hp in Euro-spec and 130 hp in US spec. Want an automatic? How about a three-speed!

They are pretty rare, but you can pick one up from anywhere between $15,000 and $30,000 on eBay depending on how lucky you are. So yeah, it's a budget supercar from the 80's that you can buy for Toyota Camry money. Perfect for the thrift shop swagster!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
