More important is the fact that the company will showcase its latest development of Toyota’s already successful D-1KR-FE 1-liter 12-valve DOHC 3-cylinder engine, suitable for “Seven-Class” sportscars. In its normally aspirated form, the engine makes 80 bhp and 94 Nm of torque, while the supercharged version developed by DDEE-Ltd delivers 120 bhp and 150 Nm.

The compact engine weighs in at just 69 kg, making it one of the best power-to-weight ratio stock based engine on the market, and with the application of further lightweight parts, it can get even lighter. The unit is available as new, install-ready ex-factory package, with all it needs, including starter, alternator, intake manifold, clutch and flywheel, but can be customized according to customer’s specifications.

Besides the new 3-cylinder gasoline engine, the company also offers a range of Toyota i-3, i-4 and V6 gasoline/diesel engines.
