A well-built, decent-looking and dirt-cheap Cobra replica is one of the most rare sights on eBay Motors these days. With only 3,700 miles on the clock and a correct Shelby Cobra 427 S/C fiberglass bodyshell reinforced with Kevlar, this $29,750 replica is pretty much a steal.
According to the seller, the car advertised was built by Shell Valley Classic Wheels Inc., a replica kit manufacturer from Nebraska that set up shop over 40 years ago. The body is painted in a deep metallic Ford Toreador Red hue, courtesy of Utah-based shop Russ's Bodyworks.

Shell Valley's cheapest roller Cobra replica kit retails for $19,995, but this amount of dough doesn't include door panels, wheels and tires, engine and transmission or exterior paint. Therefore $29,750 for a complete, high quality and virtually new Shelby Cobra replica is an offer pretty hard to refuse for most petrolheads in the market for one.

Under the hood you'll find a 406 cubic inch (6.6-liter) Chevy small block V8 engine tuned by Utah-based engine specialist Hunter Machine. Some highlight features worth mentioning are the 750 cfm Speed Demon carburetor, SRP pistons and the Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold. In total, the powerplant delivers 400 hp and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Couple that with the 2,420 lbs (1.097 kg) dry weight and the beefed up TH-350 three-speed automatic tranny and you'll get a pretty fast machine certain to rearrange your hairdo. Check out the gallery below to see the vehicle and follow this link to see the listing in its entirety.
