Deadmau5 Gets His McLaren 650s Wrapped: It’s Not the Nyan Cat [Updated]

Canadian DJ and Winner of 2014’s Spirit of Gumball 3000 Deadmau5 seems to be enjoying his new McLaren 650S he recently bought from Pfaff McLaren, a supercar dealer from Toronto. He posted an image of his white sportscar after it got a bit of a personal touch, like he always does. But rest assure, this time there is no Nyan Cat involved. In fact, it looks pretty cool and classy, as the artist is clearly in awe of the car.

Ok, the McLaren 650S is based on the MP4-12C having only about 25% new parts, but that doesn’t mean it’s not amazing. Having a claimed top speed of 207mph (333km/h) and a 3 second reach for the 62mph mark (0-100km/h), it has already become the celebrities’ most wanted car.

After we saw Paris Hilton driving her pet Chihuahua Peter Pan in a new black McLaren 650s, Deadmau5 posed next to his, minutes after he picked it up from the Pfaff McLaren dealer in Toronto. But now, the Canadian DJ thought to put a bit of salt and pepper on his 650 horsepower super-fast ride. So he put sky blue foil intake covers and sky blue calipers on the baby.

We’ll be honest with you, we were a bit worried Deadmau5 will think of another awkward wrap, like he did with his Ferrari 458 he recently sold online, but the sky blue looks cool enough for us to click the like button.

Update: We found a recent picture of the DJ standing next to his McLaren and it turns out the sky blue wrapp was just and idea of what Deadmau5 was thinking to do with his sportscar. In other words, our reader was right stating Deadmau5's McLaren 650S still keeps the stock all-white color. Well, we'll let you know when that changes.
