Weeks after Ferrari asked Deadmau5 to remove the Nyan cat wrap off his Ferrari 458 Spider, better known as Purrari, it would seem it’s Disney’s turn to hustle the Canadian DJ over his logo. Meanwhile, Zimmerman stays focused on his rides, whether he's getting new features on the McLaren 650S or remembers his Ferrari, who now wears no wrap.
Apart from being chased by Disney, who’s lawyers filed a 171-page document on Tuesday trying to block the Canadian DJ from registering a trademark for his famous logo, Deadmau5 seems to be doing pretty well. It turns out the blue calipers and blue intake cover we wrote about were the actual choice for his McLaren 650S Deadmau5 recently bought.
“So rad seeing my crazy idea come to life... Dem blue calipers and blue anodized intake cover... Sexy!” Deadmau5 quoted next to the picture of his new customized McLaren.
The fact that he’s an avid car enthusiast is no news for anybody, but how many of you guys out there ever thought Zimmerman would actually be such a sentimental person? One day before Deadmau5 showed the new looks to all his fans on Instagram, the DJ posted an image of the Purrari framed by the guys who took the wrap off the Ferrari.
Oh, there’s also one more thing he changed at his McLaren, it got new carbon fiber plate bracket. And yes, we love it! Let’s hope there is nobody suing him over this...
