Deadmau5 Buys Jeep Rubicon Then Goes Custom on It: Mau5monster

He just attended the Briggs Automotive Company Christmas party in Liverpool, where he actually flew over to pick up his Mono BAC sportscar. The artist has a McLaren P1 currently under production, which will deliver next spring, and already owns more luxury sportscars we’ll ever afford. But Deadmau5 was never into the off-road beasts. Until now.

As we previously reported, Joel Zimmerman on his real name, is one of those artists that spends a good part of his fortune on new wheels. The Canadian DJ simply loves hitting the road with the fastest cars he can get on the market and even race some every once in a while.

At first we were rather skeptical about this man’s habit, since we’re used to celebrities that buy extremely powerful cars without actually knowing how to proper handle them. It was only recently we saw that Deadmau5 is actually serious about his passion and is even willing to get lessons from professional drivers.

However, it turns out it took us longer to get used to the idea, than it took the DJ to move to yet another level. We just found out Deadmau5 is already stepping to the off-road drivers class, as he recently bought himself a proper Jeep Wrangler Rubicon he sent straight to the shop. For this job the Canadian artist went for the Henderson, Nevada-based custom shop Divine 1 Customs.

We stumbled upon a making-of video of the rendering they did and we listed it below just in case you want to take a closer look. Zimmerman calls his new off-road baby Mau5monster, which means there’s no Nyan Cat reference with this one. Nonetheless, we’re sure it’s going to be a hell of a ride.
