Lamborghini’s new track monster will be racing in a host of events including the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Spa-Francochamps 24-hours race. But additional promotion never hurt anybody by now, so the clever guys being charged with the marketing department started a little conversation with Deadmau5 on Twitter hours after unveiling their new baby.
Motorsports is something you guys sure know of, which is why you also know what Lamborghini’s step is all about. With the new Huracan GT3, the Italian supercar maker is basically directly involved in GT motorsport activities for the first time.

In specs, we’re facing a beast here. Fitted with a chassis made of aluminum and carbon fiber (of course) the racecar has a modified subframe so it can accommodate the extra bits needed to power the machine even higher. The bodywork and aerodynamics were done in collaboration with Dellara Engineering and have been fixed to ensure good traction on any kind of asphalt. This and plenty more we have talked about the other day.

You see, most of the car makers out there now clearly know that one of the best ways to make their products successful is by getting the help of celebrities. Deadmau5 is not only a rich car enthusiast, but he is also famous for taking sportscars to the road with every occasion. Moreover, just a couple a weeks ago he took Lamborghini’s new street supercar, the Huracan, for a spin on a rental session.

In other words, the Canadian DJ is interested, so it’s only natural Lamborghini is now teasing him with every occasion. The two have been exchanging lines on Twitter referring to the new racecar and it seems Deadmau5 is quite fond of it. Sooner or later, you guys should expect him to add a Huracan to his car collection, we’re telling you.
