DD Customs Tunes the Chevrolet Camaro SS to 467 Horsepower

If you're a muscle car fan and the Chevy Camaro's 426 horses produced by the standard 6.2-liter V8 motor are not enough to float your boat, then fret not. German tuning company DD Customs has managed to squeeze 467 horses from a 2010 MY Camaro and also enhanced it with extra eye candy.

This isn't actually a pre-configured package, but a job made to a particular customer's preferences. So what bits and bobs have been added to the already potent and visually enticing Chevrolet Camaro? Starting with a KW version 1 undercarriage conversion that lowers the car and improves grip levels, the German tuner also worked on the engine's intake and exhaust.

The factory air filter was changed for a high-flow K&N system, the new fan manifold measures 2 inches, while the catalytic converters have been swapped with 200-cell race catalyzers. Moreover, a trick exhaust system with electronically controlled flaps has been added to the mix, boasting four 115-millimeter thick exit pipes. That basically sums up how DD Customs has upped the oomph all the way to 467 ponies and 609 Nm (449 lb-ft) of tire-shredding torque.

In terms of aesthetics, gone are the standard aluminum wheels, replaced by two-tone 22-inch Drewske STC-10 rims wrapped in 265/30 rubber at the front and 305/25 at the rear. We think that wheels this big will affect the car's handling a bit, but hey, some people enjoy riding on blingy 22-inch rollers. In addition to the previously mentioned, a carbon fiber lip spoiler has also been added to this Camaro, as well as a carbon fiber cowl and a carbon fiber rear aerodynamic diffuser that integrates the quad exhausts.
