David Beckham was recently spotted driving a Toyota Prius, with many wondering why the star chose the eco-friendly Toyota. After all, Beckham is not exactly known for his green cars. Well, it seems that the Prius adventure is over, with Beckham now being seen with a Jaguar F-Type.
Beckham was seen entering the F-Type after leaving a SoulCycle fitness class on Friday, in Brentwood, California. The obvious thing that comes to mind is that his sporty apparel demanded a... sports car, but there may be more to this story than that.
We’d like to remind you Jaguar recently introduced a rather bold ad, inviting driver to... ahem... “F the meeting”. The carmaker wasn’t referring to the usual F work, but to its F-Type. In the photo above, Beckham is seen waiting for the F-Type’s fancy door handles to pop out of the doors, holding the precious key.
Who knows, perhaps Beckham took Jaguar’s advice. Since he’s not exactly attending business meetings these days, the star probably looked for a way to turn Jaguar’s idea into reality and said “good-bye” to the Toyota. Of course, the supercharged V8 was the natural way to go - Beckham may have moved to America, but he's still British...
