Datsun Man Proposes to His Girlfriend the Horsepower Way, Is She a Fair Lady?

The internet's meme side has more than once explained to us that, when your girl fully understands your project car, you should give her a ring (No, not the piston ring, the other one). Certain car guys take this literally, which is not half bad, by the way.

We're here to show you how a car aficionado (a Datsun fan, to be more precise) decided to surprise his girlfriend by proposing to her during what should've been a car photo shoot.

Josey, who owns a cool restomod Datsun 280z animated by an LSx, turned to the crew over at 1320video in order to pull the stunt. While the video team's members usually enjoy watching four-wheeled creatures falling in love with the prepped surface of the drag strip, they were happy to assist the man in his quest to win girlfriend Cortney over.

"Our friend Josey decided to take it upon himself to ask his long time girlfriend, Cortney, to marry him - but he had to make it special! Josey hit us up at 1320Video to help him stage a photo shoot of his turbo LSx Datsun 280z and our video editors turbo Datsun 510, but little did Courtney know…this was no photo shoot! Thank you to Josey and Courtney for letting us be part of their special day - congratulations!" the crew said in the description of the YouTube video.

As you'll be able to see in the clip, the pair usually goes out in their high-octane 280Z, seeking photo shoot locations. Well, this sounds like just the kind of activity a married couple should engage in to make sure boredom doesn't show up, so we can't help but think their future looks bright.

After all, memes such as the ones described in the intro were created to bring sense into people's lives, right?
