About a month ago we showed you a vehicle that we heralded as being the most badass road car ever, while a few days later it was outgunned in terms of show by a special variant made to celebrate the very existence of Vladimir Putin, of all people.
We are of course talking about the monstrous Drive Hard 6x6, a six-wheeled leviathan based on the already-bonkers Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6, which has recently jumped into the spotlight once more with the launch of a … hip hop video that was probably made to bring even more attention to the downright straight-jacket insane vehicle.
Featuring a highly-memorable “I go hard like Vladimir Putin – Drive Hard like Vladimir Putin” chorus and very few other lyrics, the song is apparently sang by K. King, Beni Maniaci, GB, Kelz and Zulu Manthan, which are possibly some up-and-coming hip hop artists that we personally have never heard before.
On the other hand, the video is certain to cause a stir, as it looks like it was edited by someone who only had access to a computer, PowerPoint, a cheap video editing software and heavy doses of LSD, but we may be wrong.
Either way, the entertaining value sits quite high for those who will get past the large amount of kitsch present in the footage. In our view, the only way it could be made more entertaining would be for it to be reviewed by Beavis and Butthead, like in the old days of MTV.
For those interested in the rather unique-looking Drive Hard 6x6, you might to learn that the bulletproof version costs EUR 2.4 million ($3.3 million), while the non-armored variant can set you back “only” EUR 1.5 million ($1.9 million). The personalization options are obviously almost endless. Enjoy!
