Some of you probably remember what we proclaimed to be the most badass road car ever from about a month ago – a vehicle based on the already-bonkers Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 and called Drive Hard 6x6.
Well, as we mentioned at the end of that report, chances for Dartz to make another similar car were not exactly low, especially since there are quite a lot of oligarchs out there with money to burn and odd tastes in cars.
Apparently called the “Red Russian”, the G 63 AMG Drive Hard 6x6 in the adjacent photos looks like it was custom-built to tickle Vladimir Putin's funny bone, especially since the man himself is painted as a caricature in one of the psychedelic official images with the model.
Not only that, but the caricature in question seems to blend Die Hard's John McClane's fictional character with the face of Russia's number one bare-chested horse rider.
There are no performance upgrades made to the highly-modified G 63 AMG 6x6, while most of its new exterior features were already present on the insane-looking Drive Hard 6x6, but the Red Russian does feature a bespoke paint job that somehow reminds us of Russian Matryoshka dolls.
Apparently, the car also comes with a set of baseball bats painted in a similar fashion, something which removes any reminding doubts that surround the Red Russian's targeted demographics.
There has been no pricing reveal to this hour, but since a non-armored Drive Hard 6x6 costs around 1.5 million Euros ($1.9 million), we suspect this should start at a similar price. Are any interested Russophile and/or Die Hard fans out there?
