‘Dark Knight’ BMW M3 Gets CVT Wheels

The last time we had an encounter with the Dark Knight M3 we barely made it out alive, the vicious Bimmer setting its eyes on us and revving its engine furiously. We had to get out of there, ASAP.

This time, it’s back and with a vengeance. However, unlike last time, it’s featuring some new rims, set to make the mood more welcoming and leaving the black on black theme behind.

If the original version used Vossen’s CV4 wheels in titanium finish to get around, this time we’re looking at a set of CVT rims in a custom gold metallic finish, as per the customer’s request.

Of course, all the other add-ons remained on-board including but not limited to the front bumper splitter, the new rear diffuser, the boot lid spoiler and so on.

Round the back, the taillights got smoked out while the front facia now features some red corona rings that are quite interesting to behold, especially at night.

The stock car used to make 420 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque with a redline rated at over 8,300 RPM and a brilliant sound coming out of the 4-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine. However, this baby is wearing all sorts of stickers saying a different story. We wouldn’t be surprised if it had well over 500 HP at the wheels.
