We said it once, we'll say it again: It's good to be James Bond! Or Daniel Craig in this case. The actor who plays James Bond since 2006 pocketed $1 million, or 658,000 of her Majesty's pounds, to appear at the New York Auto Show alongside the 2014 Range Rover Sport.
It looks like Daniel Craig didn't have too much time to enjoy his new Aston Martin V12 Vantage he got himself as a birthday gift two weeks ago. The British actor was busy getting ready for the 2014 Range Rover Sport's debut in New York, for which he earned $1 million.
Besides featuring in the vehicle's presentation clip that was showcased at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on Tuesday, Craig drove the 2014 Range Rover Sport onto the stage to mark the SUV's global debut. However, the actor didn't waste to much time in the spotlight, fleeing shortly after getting out of the car.
Daniel Craig's disappearing act stunned the audience, but Land Rover representatives declined any comments: "We won’t comment on our relationship with Mr. Craig beyond confirming that Land Rover supports the charity S.A.F.E., of which the actor is a patron, and will continue its charitable efforts with a vehicle donation later this year".
