Having NASCAR belle Danica Patrick as an ambassador opens up quite a long list of opportunities for a motorcycle manufacturer, and this was exactly what Can-Am wanted when they employed her as the new face of the Spyder.
As we reported earlier, Danica was to star in several Can-Am video vignettes alongside celebrities and it looks like the first series introduce the Spyder as the perfect vehicle for stars who are trying to lose the paparazzi. The first two VIPs Can-Am chose to advertise their Syder ware Brooke Burke and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.

The scenario for these two shorts is pretty much the same, with matching doses of silliness for both: a public figure is “trapped” by paparazzi and is calling for a “rescue” vehicle. The phone rings in Can-Am’s dedicated VIP-getaway department, and Danica sets out to pick up the customer. She carries an extra helmet and flees with the celebrity.

Though not unlike the Uber taxi, we doubt Can-Am will offer such services, especially for VIPs, as riding a motorcycle, even as a passenger is obviously a dangerous way to escape paparazzi, and quite a few celebrities are acquainted to this sport. Anyway, the promo campaign looks quite cool, and having stars featured in these vignettes surely helps Can-Am a lot. Waiting for babes clad in tight leathers to show up…
