Known to perform under the brand name VincentandFlavia, but even more famous due to their appearance in BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing show, Vincent Simone & Flavia Cacace have received a Honda CR-V to travel across the UK and perform in their own show - Midnight Tango.
“The Honda CR-V is one of the best cars we’ve ever had. It’s been a dream to travel in, it feels incredibly safe and steady while the seats are extremely comfortable and there’s plenty of space too,” Flavia said.
The tour is set to run through to the end of July. Karen Bruce, who has choreographed for both Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance on BBC 1, will direct the production, with choreography by Vincent and Flavia, design by Morgan Large and lighting by James Whiteside. The live music will be provided by top tango band Tango Siempre, featuring vocalist Guillermo Rozenthuler.
The CR-V has consistently topped the SUV sales tables since launch in 2007, with its ample cabin and large, split-level boot offering useful practicality and its low centre of gravity giving the CR-V ‘car-like’ handling characteristics.
There is no word on the technical specs of the CR-V that is being used by Vincent and Flavia, but we expect it to use the 2.2-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that produces 150PS and 350 Nm. The i-DTEC engine uses a combination of the latest injection technology, more efficient exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel particulate filter to create a diesel engine that’s quieter and smoother.
