“Is this the guy?” one of the officers asked his fellow while the other cop was handcuffing Dan Bilzerian. The Renegade of Instagram just posted a video of himself getting arrested in the middle of the night. Knowing the hustler’s crazy lifestyle and his grand desire to surprise fans with every occasion, we’re wondering if it’s yet another scam or if the millionaire poker player is really being charged over a felony.
The video was uploaded less than a hour ago on Dan Bilzerian’s Instagram and it shows three police cars having stopped Dan Bilzerian’s white Lamborghini somewhere in the middle of the night. The playboy is being handcuffed and the clip ends with one of the officers asking the person who was taping the incident to stop filming.
“It was fun ride while it lasted, I might be going away for a while,” Bilzerian quoting next to the video. The fact that we tend not to trust him is not that bizarre, considering most of his fans reacted exactly the same.
In fact, the poker player became really popular when he decided to show people what a VIP lifestyle really is all about. We’re talking endless bikini girls parties, blowing up cars, shooting sprees, racing really fast cars and plenty of other crazy stuff.
Posting tons of pictures and videos with exactly that kind of adventures is what got him so popular on Instagram and Facebook in the first place, which is why we’re guessing it’s just another scam Bilzerian is pulling.
On the other hand, it’s not the first time a famous person gets some unexpected jail time. I mean, think of Lindsay Lohan who was arrested twice on two separate DUI charges or Paris Hilton who also had some driving problems and drugs possession issues. Others had even bigger charges, like R. Kelly who was arrested for alleged child pornography in 2002 and 2003.
Anyway, we'll let you guys know if we get any fresh updates.
Update: It turns out the whole story was an attention scam, as Bilzerian posted another video on Instagram showing him heavily drifting a police car. "Come on you boys didn't think I'd let those bastards arrest me did you," the poker player said. We posted the second clip too, just in case you want to see the scene.
P.S. The bottle he holds in his hands looks like an alcohol bottle, which is not really funny, nor is it smart.
