Dainese D-Store Opens in Chicago

Italian apparel manufacturer Dainese has enjoyed a great deal of success in the United States, and following a strong market demand, has recently expanded its showroom network with its first D-Store east of the Mississippi.

Located in the Chicagoland neighborhood of Schaumburg, D-Store Chicago opened its doors to business in earlier this month.

“With two successful D-Stores in San Francisco and Orange County and a stronger penetration of the US market, Dainese continues its expansion in North America with its Windy City store,” a company statement reads.

The new D-Store Chicago offers the Motorbike and both Summer and Winter Multisport product lines which include cycling and ski apparel.

For example, the showroom has recently added the Dainese No Wind Jackets to its product line-up. Available in XS-XXL, the jacket is windproof and water resistant. It can be worn under the jacket or alone, and it is priced at $119.

Another highlight in the store’s offering is the AGV AX-8 top of the line off-road helmet, with a shell made of carbon, kevlar and fiberglass.

“The D-Store’s ideal showroom gives maximum product visibility and allows customers to have their individual measurements taken by our experienced staff for accurate sizing of stock items or to order their personalized, made-to-measure leather suit directly from the Molvena factory in Italy,” stated the press release.

The store spreads over 2400-square-foot in a new building in the famous Woodfield Mall area of Schaumburg, which is the largest shopping destination of the Chicagoland area.
