We all know the importance of wearing a proper safety gear while riding a motorcycle. This year’s EICMA show in Milan promises to be a blast for that matter, as one of the most best safety equipment manufacturers in the world, Dainese, is preparing the presentation of two important technological innovation projects.

The Dainese and AGV stand will be entirely dedicated to two D-air projects: the airbag for motorcycle riders, and AGV Standards, a revolution in the helmet design and creation process.

The event, scheduled to take place between November 2-7, will “provide a preview of the research projects that will be the driving force behind the company’s innovation for the next few years in the name of Italian Legendary Protection, the concept that expresses the excellence of Made in Italy through the combined experience of Dainese and AGV,” as Dainese says.

The area set up for the D-air project will host both the Racing version, which will be officially presented because it is now ready for launching in the market, and the Street version, whose prototypes are already in an advanced state of development.

Visitors will also get the chance to see the biggest steps in the D-air evolutionary process that began back in 2000 with all the different prototypes that finally led to the final product soon to go on sale.

AGV, instead, will be presenting AGV Standards, an innovative helmet design method that lets helmets be literally constructed around the wearer’s head thanks to the accurate scanning of his or her cranium, with remarkable results in terms of comfort and safety.
