It seems that the Germans are slowly taking over China (or is the either way around?), as Daimler Trucks and Buses China (DTBC) has just received the internationally acknowledged VDA 6.2 certificate by TÜV SÜD, which is a German-based certification agency located in the Chinese capital.
“Since its establishment, DTBC has moved ahead rapidly in enhancing the transparency and efficiency of processes across the entire business, aiming to deliver benchmark service quality that complement our outstanding products in the segment.” said Robert Veit, President and CEO of Daimler Trucks and Buses China. “With the certificate we prove our customers that Daimler’s renowned processes and services are applied equally in China, exemplifying perfectly Mercedes-Benz’ brand value on a global level.”

Specifically tailored for the automotive industry, the VDA 6.2 certificate warrants efficient and transparent business processes and therefore improves customer satisfaction.

It supplements the ISO 9001 standard, which is known as the most important and globally acknowledged standard for quality management.
