Daimler, Official Partner of the World Future Energy Summit

The first ever European automotive manufacturer to take part in the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), Daimler, is attending the event as Official Transport Partner, providing more than one opportunity for those attending to experience the Germans' take on sustainable drive solutions.

As the partner of the event, Daimler has earned the right to be very visible in Abu Dhabi, where WFES is taking place. The car maker provides, first of all, a Ride & Drive opportunity for all those interested in getting acquainted to a whole range of battery-electric powered vehicles.

The cars included in the event are smart fortwo electric drive, S 500 Plug-in HYBRID, the BlueZERO F-CELL and the Mercedes-Benz F 800 Style. In addition, the car maker also made available the already-in-production Mercedes-Benz A-Klasse E-CELL.

As if to prove that the green efforts undertaken in the design offices in Stuttgart are not only limited to passenger cars, the manufacturer also presents a few of its commercial green vehicles, including the Mercedes-Benz Econic NGT with CO2-neutral biogas drive and the Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid truck.

WFES visitors and participants can experience Daimler in other ways as well. The producer set up a trade stand at the show, complete with expert speakers. Their goal, as is the goal of the entire summit, is to make the event a starting point towards “finding sustainable, environmentally-friendly, economical solutions to the challenges faced by the energy industry.”
