Long are the days when we’d be surprised that advertising companies out there use children to sell the concerning products. It’s simple, your kid is happy, you’re happy. Your daughter gets to pet a pink pony; you buy the car that helped you catch the wild animal running on this land Honda has in mind. Of course, the action takes fairytale proportions, but the principle is simple.
It’s the classic father-saves-the-day type of situation, only that it all happens in the world where colored horses run free on a farm Honda names Ranch of the Rainbow. Apparently, the peculiar four-legged animals get their colors from the particular grass they eat or at least that’s the subtle idea behind this ad.

Nevertheless, as we said, the daughter comes to daddy for help after the head falls off her prized pink horse. Drama is covered too, since the little girl is tearfully showing her father what happened. Next thing you know, the doors of the white SUV are closed, and the family leaves on a small journey in the odd-land.

When they reach the “home of Prismatic Horses,” the girls identifies a pink pony and shows it to her parent. One thing leads to the other and daddy pushes the pedal to the metal to corral the horse with the CR-V.

The ad marks the debut spot in Leo Burnett Melbourne’s campaign for the Honda CR-V Series II. This means viewers can expect more of the tagline and further such peculiar ads.
