A thoughtful dad from Saukville, Wisconsin decided to surprise his 17-year old daughter, in an attempt to cheer her up after she had a year-long struggle with a life-threatening condition. He bought plane and concert tickets so she could see her favorite band, Timeflies, performing live. But the big surprise was the way she got them.
Audra Daniloff was driving to school back in November, when she got pulled over by a Saukville police officer. The policeman said he had stopped her because the teenager rolled through a stop sign, which was obviously a set-up. When he came back with the driving and registration papers he told her the truth.

I got some good news and some bad news for you, okay? The bad news, first I am giving you two tickets. But they are not the type of tickets you think. One is a plane ticket to New York. The other is a concert ticket for your favorite band”, the officer said.

Her reaction is quite precious and proves the exact point Saukville Police Chief Jeffrey Goetz had when he agreed to go along with the man’s idea, even though some people could accuse them of wasting police resources. “I would argue the fact - that we’re wasting our resources. I think that’s exactly what our resources should be used for”, Goetz told Fox6now.

The rare disease called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) attacked Audra’s immune system and put her in Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin for 58 days. She has been back countless times for treatment and still does it. We’re pretty sure the surprise did mean a lot for the teenage girl and we can only congratulate her father and the officers who agreed to help him.
