Whether you had never heard of Dacias until James May made the Sandero popular or your Easter European roots made you grow up with them, chances are you’ve never considered these budget machines as fit for James Bond.
Well, that was a huge mistake on your side, as spies, secret agents and any other people working in this field should strongly consider a Dacia, especially a Lodgy. At least that’s what the latest Dacia commercial tells us.

While we don’t want to throw spoilers at you, we will mention the ad offers us what appears to be a piece of valuable advice - never go spying in a Fiat 850.

Renault’s Romanian budget brand stretched its core values a bit to build the Lodgy MPV. Dacia has always been about giving people a lot of car for an impressively small amount of money, but the Lodgy has taken that to a whole new level.

Sure, James Bond is more of a rear-wheel-drive kind of guy, but perhaps he’s not that good at drifting. After all, he has crashed quite a lot of Astons and BMWs over the years.

So perhaps The Queen’s favorite spy could take a break from trying to handle high-horsepower RWD contraptions and try some defensive driving in a front-wheel-drive minivan with about 100 hp.

Bond has always had a problem with team work and the seven-seater version of the Lodgy could allow him to solve this kind of communication issues.

Then again, the Lodgy would need a few suspension tweaks before being deemed worthy of the Bond car title. It would all have to start with a comfier front passenger seat.

Seriously, you can ask any of the Bond girls to use the basic seats of this Dacia. Then there’s the suspension - the spy has a bad reputation when it comes to flipping cars, so Renaultsport should play with the Dacia a bit before handing it over to Bond.
