Dacia Duster Van Conversion

It's been a few months since the first Dacia SUV began rocking the sales charts in the markets where it was released and we've already seen several private entrepreneurs taking their shot at the vehicle and either converted to run of liquefied petroleum gas or providing the SUV with a tuning package.

The next logical step was to create another body variant for the model. Enter the Dacia Duster Van, converted from a regular Duster into such a model by the Austrians from Fiskales.

By placing one or two panels here and there, the company created a van with a loading capacity of 1,636 liters and a payload of up to 425 kg. Now don't go thinking this is just a design study, because it's not.

The Duster van conversion is available for purchase, for prices starting with EUR12,508 ($16,100) for the 1.6 16v version. The company promises to offer such a package for the 1.5 dCi 110 hp variant soon, with prices for this version to be announced as soon as it becomes available.

The Fiskales conversion is the first endeavor of this kind offered by a company other than Dacia. The Mioveni-based manufacturer provides what it calls the VP/VS package on several markets, in essence a van conversion, but not for the 4x4 models.

This isn't the case though in all markets, as the carmaker would rather sell the first model introduced in this segment, the Logan Van. The model is cheaper than the Duster and comes with pretty much the same traits as the Duster Van.
