Dacia Duster is going to star at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show as Dacia's first-ever SUV but, up until now, the Romanian brand rolled out only a few pictures and a "static" video with the car. Well, we came across some new photos with the Duster on what seems to be the official Renault account of the popular photo sharing service flickr. However, the French carmaker hasn't published them its main website or on the media-restricted page.

The Duster is due to go on sale in European markets in May but Dacia's representatives said that the brand's main factory in Romania has already started production so deliveries would begin soon after the public unveiling at Geneva.

As for technical specifications, the car will measure 4.31m in length and 1,82m in width. It will be available in both 4x2 and 4x4 versions. The latter has three operating modes: two-wheel drive, Auto and Lock. It has a ground clearance of 200 mm and features a 30 degree angle of attack and a 35 degree angle of departure.

Dacia's first SUV will have different weights, depending on the configuration: 1180 kilograms for the 2WD version, 1280 for the AWD flavor. The engine lineup will a 1.6 liter 16v 110 HP petrol unit and two versions of the 1.5 dCI engine, one with 85 HP and one that offers 105 HP.

Pricing is yet to be disclosed but, judging by the rumors, it could go in the 13,000 Euros - 20,000 Euros range, depending on the version you choose.
