Dacia’s facelifted Duster SUV will make its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Yes, it was clear as daylight for quite a while, but the Romanian brand’s plans have now been confirmed by Renault.
According to a statement released by the French automaker, the Dacia Duster facelift will be unwrapped on September 10, when the Renault/Dacia press conference at the Frankfurt Motor Show is scheduled to take place.
As we already learned from recent spyshots, the new Dacia Duster will feature revised headlights, taillamps, front grille, and front/rear bumpers, while the interior will remain largely the same, with few updates applied here and there. However, the Duster will be fitted with cruse control for the very first time.
The engine range will likely remain the same, but the 1.5-liter dCi diesel should become available with the Eco2 package. The 115 HP turbocharged 1.2-liter TCe unit could also be sourced from the Lodgy, but we haven’t been able to confirm this at the time of writing.
