The budget automaker from Romania can ad another medal to its chest. This time, it's not sales they are telling us about, but a brand new Dacia Duster that has been converted for military use by the Romanian army.
Paraded in front of thousands of people for the Romanian national day this weekend, the Duster Army features a lot of kit. For starters, it supposedly comes with underbody armor, but only to protect the engine gearbox, fuel tank and rear diff.

Supposedly built in accordance with NATO standards, the Duster Army also has a tow system anchoring for air lift, extra 12V and 24V electric sockets and "black out" camouflage for the lighting system.

That exterior roll cage is there so the roof won't cave in under the weight of a heavy machine gun turret. The Military is keeping details a secret when it comes to the weapon, but we can easily tell its fully remotely operated, probably fitted with binocular night-vision cameras. It's probably a 12 or 13 mm caliber by the look of it.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
