Dacia Concept Leaked Scan Photos Before Geneva

Over the past few days there have been some rumors speculating that Renault's low-cost brand, Dacia, will unveil a concept at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Since a Dacia SUV is expected to hit showrooms in the following year, everybody thought that the aforementioned concept will be a Sandero-based crossover/SUV, built to prepare customers with the look of the future 4WD model.

Well, some scanned teaser images have surfaced on a Polish website, and what we can see in them looks nothing like the Romanian manufacturer has ever created. The pictures depict what appears to be a compact three-door sporty crossover, with LED headlights and boomerang-shaped taillights that scream anything but low-cost.

The car isn't fully revealed in any of the seven photos scanned so far but most of the details announce a pretty modern, if not even futuristic, Dacia concept. The most interesting part which caught our attention were the Brembo brake calipers revealing themselves in one of the pictures.

Could this be a joint-project between Renault's Dacia and different performance-oriented brands, Brembo included? Whatever the answer, the teaser images did nothing but spoil our dinner plans and keep us waiting for any official confirmation.

This will prove to be Dacia's second concept car after it became a resident of Renault's umbrella, but it could also be the first non-production car based one, since the Dacia Logan Steppe was heavily based on the production MCV model. The only thing left to wonder, besides the very authenticity of the leaked scans, is the actual name and overall shape of the concept.
