Cyclist's Life Spared by a Providential Crash Between Two Cars

You know, cyclists tend to be very critical of car drivers, so this video must put them in a moral dilemma: do you continue to condemn them based on the behavior of the Lexus driver, or did that taxi driver redeem them forever with his heroic intervention?
But there's another way of looking at this video, and most drivers will probably agree with me on this one. While there's no question that the car running the red light is at fault, it does show why so many drivers hold a grudge against people on bicycles.

That guy riding his bike was completely oblivious of everything going on around him. All he knew and cared about was that he was crossing on green. That's the problem with sharing the road with people who don't own a driver's license and who might have never driven in their lives: they don't see the bigger picture. Driving gives you that. You learn very quickly that just because you have the right of way, that doesn't mean you can relax. In fact, you can never relax.

That cyclist, however, he had no idea he was literally three feet from certain death. He doesn't look right, he doesn't brake, he doesn't accelerate, he doesn't swerve left, he doesn't do anything. He doesn't even look back after that monster crash behind him, confirming once again his zero situational awareness.

Luckily for him, a silver taxi appears from the right and crashes into the speeding car, taking it off its initial collision course with the cyclist and sending it head first into a pole. Which is a bit ironic if you think about the fact this happened in Poland, so if the taxi hadn't intervened, it would have also hit a Pole. Oh, nevermind, I was never good with puns.
