Customer to Receive First McLaren P1 in Dubai This Week

McLaren is set to deliver its first P1 in Dubai, with the customer set to receive his hypercar at the end of the current week.
The P1 is being displayed at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show these days, but we’ll remind you that the British hypercar has turned heads in the area before. McLaren has showcased the P1 on the Bahrain International Circuit, causing quite a stir. The move was used to introduce the McLaren Manama dealership.

McLaren will only build 375 units of the P1 and the company has recently told local publication thenational that 40 of these will go to Dubai.

“By the end of this year 15 P1s will be in the region but when the run is finished about 40 will be here,” Ian Gorsuch, McLaren’s regional director told the aforementioned source.

The British carmaker also wants to boost the image of its MP4-12C and MP4-12C Spider in the area though the arrival of the P1.
