Yeah, Matt Farah took a lot of custom cars down on The Snake, but we never expected to go in a Toyota Camry at some point. Yes, it is a customized one and it looks quite fast.
If you’re not accustomed with the mini show, Matt hosts the One Take series on his Youtube channel. This means he has to go at the top of a twisty mountain road, meet with car enthusiasts and drive their rides down and uphill.

This week it’s a clean white 2013 Toyota Camry. It looks totally inconspicuous, but it comes with a secret - it’s owner has secretly added some mods to make it faster, louder and handle better.

The Camry is fitted with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine but that’s the exact unit you also get on a Scion tC coupe. So the owner got the headers, intake, exhaust and even the ECU mapping from the Scion and added them to the sedan.

It also has a coilover suspension, sitting a little lower than in stock form and makes it feel better throughout the corners as you’ll see. Oh, by the way, Matt says the modded Camry here downshifts better than the Mustang EcoBoost he’s going to test soon. Check it all out below.
