Custom Susan G Komen for the Cure Motorcycle Presented in Daytona

A custom Susan G. Komen for the Cure motorcycle has been unveiled by Garwood Custom Cycles at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Daytona. The custom-built bike is destined to help raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. The custom Kawasaki 636 has now embarked on a tour of the country to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Additionally, Garwood Custom Cycles also unveiled a second custom bike in the Women Ride experience. This special Suzuki GSX-R600 was commissioned by Garwood Custom Cycles client Jennifer Lee as a tribute to her mother, who was lost to breast cancer.

Daytona Beach has also been the final stop of Ride 4 Humanity, a 3,300 mile motorcycle ride designed to raise awareness for breast cancer, as well as funds for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

“As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world,”
the foundation explains.

VIP Alliance customized a Yamaha R1 and Scorpion P6 for this cross-country motorcycle ride that made stops in Tucson, Arizona; San Antonio, Texas; Houston, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Atlanta, Georgia; Greenville, South Carolina; and Daytona Beach, Florida. The bright pink custom rides were on display throughout the show, in the Women Ride experience.
