While being a young company with a mere 2-year history, Von Braun owner Charlie Giordano thought that a striking custom motorcycle would be just the perfect way to show off some really nifty gear.
And since the Von Braun Precision Exhaust cans were already on multiple Harley-Davidson bikes, a new contraption was obviously in line: a customized Honda VT100 to show both custom style and to let the aftermarket silencers shine.
The project was baptized John Henry and is a tribute to the famous railroad builder. Despite its shiny aluminium look, the new VT1100 screams steampunk customization. We love the huge copper headlight and all the minute details of the bike, such as the right-side hand shifter, mesh screen muffler caps and side panels, as well as the uncanny “elixir” bottles.
The Honda VT1100 was changed radically and totally, but it stands proud like a symbol of assertiveness for the new and stylish Von Braun custom exhausts.
