Current Motor Electric Scooters Test Program Announced

Current Motors, an American based electric scooters manufacturer, announced this week, during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), the launch of a test pilot program for the products it has to offer. The program, which will be used by the company to get the required feedback to manufacture a better version of the current vehicle, will also benefit the participants.

Current will give each of those entering the program a series of advantages, including preferential pricing for the models that will be launched on the market in 2012. An extra $2,000 discount on existing Current Motor's EVs will be given to the test pilots.

"Our Test Pilot program is a completely unique, transparent way for Current Motor to receive critical feedback that will help us ramp up performance and quality quickly,"
said Lauren Flanagan, Current Motors chairman.

"Current Motor is an early stage manufacturing company; we're smart enough to know we aren't perfect and don't have the resources to go through multiple, costly iterations to achieve that perfection.  We're offering white glove service to our customers and we're prepared to throw down a glove and share the good, bad and ugly in our quest to build the best value EVs in the world. We also hope to set a new standard for openness and truth in advertising in the electric scooter market."

The test pilots will be asked to send their impressions to the manufacturer on a monthly basis for an entire year. This is not a complicated process, as the company will make full use of existing social media sites (Facebook, LinkedIn Groups, Twitter) to get the needed information.
