Creative Fiesta Movement Agents Awarded

Ford’s Fiesta Movement finally came to an end, with agents awarded (not clear what they received, as Ford forgot to mention) for their creative videos and photos at the Palladium in Los Angeles, one day before the official unveiling of the 2011 Ford Fiesta at the 2009 LA Auto Show.

"This was the perfect way to say thank you to our agents," said Connie Fontaine, Ford brand content and alliances manager. "We also got to present awards to agents whose videos went above and beyond our expectations, and really captured the spirit of Fiesta."

As part of the Fiesta Movement social media initiative, 100 young trendsetters have been test driving and living with European-spec Ford Fiestas for six months, traveling as agents on special missions. They then went on to share their experiences through a variety of social media sites, like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Throughout the Fiesta Movement, agents have traveled more than 1.4 million miles and have generated more than 6 million YouTube views, nearly 740,000 Flickr views and more than 3.7 million Twitter impressions. The Fiesta Movement and test drive program has resulted in more than 80,000 potential customers.

Awards presented at the ceremony included:
  • Best Body of Work – Videos - Agent Natasha T.
  • Best Body of Work – Photos - Agent Beto
  • Best Travel Mission - Agents Brad and Emma
  • Best Technology Mission - Agent Ryan
  • Best Style and Design Mission - Agent Hillary
  • Best Social Activism Mission - Agent Hugh
